Its low carbon content ensures freedom from inter granular cracking and corrosion and produced a bright finish welds. 308L is good for joining 301, 302, 304, 308 321, and 347 alloys. Typical applications include exhaust headers, chemical tanks, restaurant and distillery equipment.
