ER309L Stainless Steel is most commonly known for joining of dissimilar materials. Such examples are mild steel or low alloy steel to stainless steels, 309 to itself or to 304L stainless, as well as for joining 309 base metals. Like other stainless filler rods 309L has excellent general corrosion resistance and produces a very cosmetically pleasing weld cap. Our high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems which inferior wires are prone to. Each rod is individually stamped or laser engraved with its grade identification marking. All our TIG wire is individually packed, labeled, and is transported in a sturdy card board sleeve which ensures your wire stays in great condition during transport.
