Developer consists of refined white particles suspended in isopropanol alcohol to give enhanced sensitivity for locating tight, incipient flaws; by solvent and capillary action, it pulls flaw-entrapped penetrant to part surfaces for display against a white background.

Shake container thoroughly until agitator rattles freely before using.

After complete surface penetrant removal, spray a very light, even coat of developer onto the dry surface.
2 or 3 light coats are preferred to a single heavier coat.
Flaw and crack indications appear as developer dries but allow few minutes before final inspection.
