ER110S-G is a copper-coated low alloy solid wire for all positional welding of high-strength Q&T steels requiring as-welded tensile strength up to 800N/mm2 (110 ksi min) with good low-temperature toughness.

Used DC positive, with Argon 5% – 25% CO2 shielding gas, deposits with good appearance, penetration and low spatter loss can be achieved.

Note: Vanadium (V) is not a deliberate addition. This has a beneficial effect in that the mechanical toughness or impact properties will be maintained in both the as-welded and stress-relieved condition – no detrimental effect of Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) is to be expected.
