In addition, it also offers outstanding corrosion resistance when exposed to salt water and is hence widely used in the marine and offshore industries. ER5356 should be used for welding 5000 series aluminium base metals. Our high purity fillers have sensational flow characteristics and produce exceptional welds that are free of cracks, Fusion defects and other problems to which inferior wires are prone. Each rod is individually stamped or laser engraved with its grade identification marking. Beware of cheap, inferior product which is non-identifiable once removed from their packet. All our TIG wire is individually packed, labelled, and transported in a sturdy tube or box which ensures your wire stays in great condition during transport.
